How can I edit or delete my data?

If you wish to edit or delete individual expenses and other info added to a group in Splid, you can simply do so in the app.

If you wish to permanently delete an entire group, please send us your request at privacy@splid.app. Please keep in mind that this action cannot be undone and will permanently delete the group for you and others who have access to it.

Here’s some additional you may find helpful:

(1) We designed Splid with your privacy in mind. That’s why unlike most other apps, we’re not asking your to create an account and associate data with it. Instead, the info you save in Splid is typically just a loose collection of first names, amounts, and titles of expenses. Usually that makes it impossible for anybody to identify group participants or make sense of your data in other ways.

(2) When you create a new group to split expenses, you can also select that your group’s expenses and is not shared online. All expenses and other info saved in that group will be kept only on your device. To delete this data, you can simply delete the group from your device.

(3) We do not sell your data to third parties and we do not use it for advertising.
